PPC Board sees director changes at May meeting;
Next meeting – online Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. CT

Several changes were made to the Power Play Club Board of Directors at its meeting this past Tuesday, May 7.  The board accepted the resignations of Susan “Rennie” McPherson and Mike Zumwinkle; we thank both of them for their contributions to the board, club, and Gopher Women's Hockey program.  The board also approved the appointments of new directors-at-large Ander Kierig & Guy Sederski and parent representative John Conner.

The board also received the final fundraising numbers from the 2023-2024 season.  Working with the Golden Gopher Fund inside the U. of M. Athletics Department, more than $62,500 was raised for the Gopher Women's Hockey program.  GWH head coach Brad Frost provided his thanks to the PPC board, and we share that with all of you.

The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be held online on Zoom.  PPC board meetings are open to all enrolled club members; we reiterate that 2023-2024 registration will apply for all off-season meetings this summer.  If you are interested in attending, please contact club president Bill Johnson at billjohnson013@gmail.com or vice president Dave Malerich at dmalerich@yahoo.com.
