PPC Board Notes – Board meeting Tuesday, June 21 at 7 pm;
additional volunteers needed to fill positions
The next meeting of the Power Play Club Board of Directors will be held online via Zoom on Tuesday evening, June 21, at 7 p.m. As always, the meeting is open to all enrolled Power Play Club members (2021-2022 membership applies for off-season meetings); if you are interested in attending, please contact PPC vice president Dave Malerich at vicepresident@powerplayclub.org.
The board will not be meeting in July, but will resume in 2022-2023 season planning in August.

16 Gopher women's hockey players named Academic All-Big Ten
Sixteen (16) members of the Gopher Women's Hockey team were recognized as Academic All-Big Ten honorees over the past two weeks. Abigail Boreen, Josey Dunne, Taylor Heise, Crystalyn Hengler, Olivia King, Maggie Nicholson, Gracie Ostertag, Makayla Pahl, Audrey Wethington, and Madeline Wethington were named as honorees on June 1, and Lauren Bench, Emily Brown, Olivia Knowles, Emily Oden, Amy Potomak, and Catie Skaja were additionally recognized on June 8. Audrey Wethington was additionally recognized as achieving a 4.0 grade point average for the year!
The group were part of 99 U. of M. student-athletics from spring and at-large sports earning Academic All-Big Ten accolades for the 2021-22 academic year, bringing the total number student-athletes recognized from all Golden Gopher varsity sports to 331. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten merits, student-athletes must be on a varsity team, have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
