Teddy Bear pick-up, part #1 – The teddy bears are loose and on their way to Ridder Arena!! We thank those of you who have pre-purchased a bear (or several) from the Power Play Club; they can be picked up during the first game against BSU on Friday, December 1, or before the game on 12/2, though please bring your voucher to facilitate distribution. We also still have plenty of bears that can be purchased for $8 apiece at those times as well. Purchases of all tossed teddy bears are tax-deductible; in addition to the bears being donated to charity, proceeds from the sale go to support the GWH program.
Teddy Bear pick-up, part #2 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! The Power Play Club has been asked to assist with picking up teddy bears (and other stuffed animals) from the Ridder Arena ice after they have been tossed during Saturday's game. We are looking for 10 volunteers to assist with this activity, and volunteers are also asked to meet at the PPC table 30 minutes before game time to fill out a waiver form for on-ice access. Please note that you'll be asked to stay in or around the ice resurfacer tunnel (near the scorer's table) to quickly start picking up bears when the Gophers score. Many thanks for assisting with this.
Chalk Talk on Saturday – Here's one more reminder that our second Chalk Talk of the season with a member of the Gopher Women's Hockey coaching staff will occur on Saturday, December 2 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ridder Arena Club Room. We'll discuss team strategy, review game film from the previous night's contest against the Beavers, and have a brief question & answer session. Please note that you must be a registered 2017-2018 member of the Power Play Club to attend this event.
Ridder seating reminder – While Power Play Club members are welcomed to gather in the Club Room before games and during intermissions for social interaction and snacks, we have been kindly asked to return to our ticketed seats when game action resumes. The upper-level seating is reserved for those who have purchased premium ticket packages. We thank you for your understanding on this issue.
