The University of Minnesota women’s hockey program and head coach Brad Frost announced on Wednesday, September 14 that alumna Bethany Brausen is joining the program as a new assistant coach.
"We are so excited to welcome Bethany to our Gopher coaching staff," Frost said. "Bethany's fire for coaching has been evident the last two years, and her priority of helping players develop as people has always been unwavering."

Brausen, who competed for the Gophers from 2010-11 to 2013-14, fills an open position left by Nadine Muzerall, who was named as the new head coach of the women’s hockey program at The Ohio State University this past Saturday.
More on Bethany's hiring and what she's been doing in the two years since completing her collegiate playing career can be found in the press release from the University. We welcome her back to the Gopher Women's Hockey family, and look forward to working with her and seeing her on the bench this coming season.
